When Harry Met Mary!

I’ve been ‘following’ Harry for such a long time now, so what a joy it was to finally meet him on Friday! Sitting in on the presentations with him at my feet was just so special. Harry and his team make such a valuable contribution to the welfare of everyone he meets at TCH! You guys are Superstars!! πŸ˜ŽπŸ€©πŸ’œ

So honoured, getting pats from Mary, the head of Good Omen Goodeze (needle craft group supporting Canberra Hospital & Health Services) – Harry

SFX Woolverines!

It’s been such a pleasure this year connecting with and getting to know the Woolverines! They are a big part of GoG now and it’s so inspiring to see young people giving back to the community in this creative and personal way! Look forward to seeing you all in the new year!!Β πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ’œ

The Year 9 Woolverines visited the Canberra Hospital to enjoy a morning tea with ICU staff and hand over comfort toys and rugs that they had made for some of the patients. Just some photos we took for social media possibly. Our connection with the staff at the Canberra Hospital and Miles Franklin Primary School this year has been a very special one and we are so grateful to them.

Playing Santa at TCH!

Friday afternoon we made our final delivery for the year of GOG donations to Canberra Hospital! πŸŽ

Thanks to all our members’ donations and creative efforts, we filled a three trolleys full of toys, Goodie Dolls, beanies, socks, scarves, shawls and blankets to hopefully provide some comfort and Christmas cheer!!Β πŸ˜πŸŽ„πŸŽ

Wishing all GOG members a safe and happy 2019.πŸŽ„πŸ’œπŸ’–

Woolverines in action!

9 December – So proud to once again share the beautiful work done by the SFX Woolverines! It was a pleasure to see them in action and to see how confident and competent they have become in just 6 months! These gifts will mean so much to those in their time of need.Β πŸ’œΒ Thank you for your amazing generosity and it was so lovely to hear your enthusiasm to continue into the new year!Β πŸ˜πŸ’–
